Arched Great Room Divider

The Mekes family sought a designer’s help in creating a dramatic room divider to break up a large kitchen/family room area. The designer doodled an archway concept, and JMF took it from there.

Using a combination of hardwoods and medium-density fiberwood (MDF), we built an archway that matched the area’s existing fireplace, bench and molding. Precise measurements and meticulous cuts ensured that the archway fit over and around existing architectural detail. And because we did most of the work in our shop, the family experienced great turnaround with minimal disruption.
